The International Consortium of Researchers and Experts in Education and Skills Systems in Africa (ICREESSA) is a non-profit, member-based organization that brings together world-class professionals — experts, researchers, and practitioners — specializing in issues related to education, training, and employment. The Consortium is dedicated to strengthening and transforming education and skills systems across Africa. ICREESSA unites individuals with extensive experience at both national and international levels in education, training, and employment, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange to drive sustainable impact.

Vision
Each African country has a sustain high-quality and relevant education and skills systems — supported by competent professionals, updated knowledge, effective tools and frameworks, and future-oriented policies and strategies — that drive inclusive and sustainable development.

Mission

1.Serve as the Pan-African hub of excellence where world-class experts, researchers, and practitioners in education and skills development collaborate to generate, share, and apply knowledge that strengthens education and skills systems across Africa.

2.Act as a trusted technical implementing partner to ministries, national institutions, and development organizations — including NGOs and associations — when they lead or participate in the design and implementation of activities, projects, programmes, or initiatives within the education and skills development ecosystem that require the mobilization of specialized expertise, as well as frameworks for benchmarking and learning from best practices.

3.Assume the role of a quality assurance agency, providing ministries and national agencies with reference services for the independent evaluation and review of deliverables produced by consultants or implementing partners mobilized within the framework of development projects implemented for their benefit.
